La chambre anglaise Amber est moins élaborée que la chambre Ruby. Elle n'a pas la platine circulaire de celle-ci, ni la capacité d'être utilisée pour faire de la photographie stéréoscopique. Elle est donc moins chère, même s'il s'agit d'une trés belle chambre permettant tous les mouvements.
L'Amber, comme la Ruby, existe en deux formats : 13 x 18 et 18 x 24.
